How to exit the cruise port in Naples

What a wonderful discovery you will make when you arrive at the port of Naples! The city center is literally next door, it’s so convenient. Free release!

This city is a true gem full of activities and magnificent places, but let me tell you that the favorite cruise destination in Naples is without a doubt Pompeii!

You just need to walk along the port for a few minutes to arrive at the ferry terminal, where you will find all the necessary connections.

To get to Pompeii, you have several options

Take the train, it’s economical with a one-way ticket costing only 3.30 euros and a return ticket costing 6.60 euros (and the journey takes only 30 minutes).
Opt for the tourist buses which are available right in front of the ferry terminal.
→ I book my hop-on hop-off bus to visit Naples without getting tired.
You can also book a taxi for greater comfort and speed.
If you prefer an all-in-one experience, you can choose a boat excursion (rates vary between 80 and 120 euros depending on the company).
