It’s impossible to stay indifferent in front of this animated ceiling that constantly shifts themes. Every day brings new visuals such as dinosaurs, mermaids, and many other surprises. It’s a magical, breathtaking show and a truly unique experience.

If you’re sailing on the MSC Meraviglia, take some time to sit beneath this dome, especially in the evening. The shows are incredible and the atmosphere changes from one moment to the next. I won’t spoil too much so you can enjoy the surprise, but trust me, it’s an experience you shouldn’t miss.

One important point to note: the food on board clearly appeals to American and Canadian guests, since the MSC Meraviglia is sailing exclusively in North America and the Caribbean this year. It definitely feels different compared to cruises in Europe.

Service is excellent. The team is attentive and always ready to recommend the perfect dish to make your taste buds sing. The sea view from this restaurant is simply magical, adding a dreamy touch to every meal.

On board the MSC Meraviglia, the Marketplace Buffet is the main included buffet restaurant, accessible to everyone. Located on Deck 15, it offers a wide variety of dishes from morning until 2 a.m., perfect for satisfying any craving, even late at night.

One of the Marketplace Buffet’s biggest strengths is its pizza. Special mention for the pepperoni pizza, absolutely delicious and probably one of the best served at sea.

The MSC Meraviglia buffet is strongly inspired by American tastes. Dishes are generous and sometimes a bit heavier than what we are used to in Europe. If you prefer lighter European cuisine, you will notice the difference. However, for the largely American crowd onboard, the offer fits perfectly.

Still, the variety is definitely there. Meats, fish, vegetables, snacks, desserts. In the evening, after 11:30 p.m., a selection of sweets and pastries is available until the buffet closes at 2 a.m., a real treat for anyone with a sweet tooth.

👉 For kids, the family buffet area is particularly well done. It offers balanced, varied dishes and plenty of treats that make younger guests happy.

Broadway Theater

The MSC Meraviglia’s Broadway Theater offers a spectacular experience that far exceeds the usual cruise standards.

Onboard, every show is a true American-style performance: magicians, illusionists, singers. The quality of the performances is simply outstanding. In the United States, showmanship is taken seriously, and it shows at every moment!

Among the talents, special mention goes to Trenis, a singer awarded in shows like The Voice and American Idol. Her vocal power, charisma, and interaction with the audience were breathtaking. At certain moments, the emotion was so strong it felt like attending a Whitney Houston tribute concert.

The entire cast of singers and performers also impressed with rare vocal harmony for a cruise, worthy of the world’s biggest stages. Every note, every movement, and every interaction with the audience reflected absolute professionalism.

Precision planning to welcome everyone

Shows last between 30 and 40 minutes and are performed three times each evening (7:00 p.m., 8:30 p.m., and 9:30 p.m.) to ensure all passengers can enjoy them under the best conditions. A true logistical achievement on a ship as large as the MSC Meraviglia!

Casino Imperial

On board the MSC Meraviglia, the Imperial Casino offers an elegant and vibrant experience, staying true to the grand tradition of luxury cruises. Every evening, the atmosphere was especially lively: Americans love the world of gaming, and it was evident in every corner of the casino.

Additionally, both hard lounge chairs and cushioned loungers are always available, even in the afternoon, unlike some European cruises where chairs are reserved early.

One of the great advantages of the MSC Meraviglia: you can relax and enjoy the hot tubs until 11:30 p.m., which is rare and makes this cruise perfect for lovers of nighttime swims.

A DJ keeps the energy high until 4 or 5 a.m., and a bar is open for cocktails late into the night.

An amusing experience even took place in the rain! However, it’s a pity there’s no covered space for dancing in bad weather. One possible solution could be to convert the Deck 7 karaoke room into a nightclub at night, as it is already soundproofed. This would make the experience even more enjoyable, especially during winter.

Shops

The MSC Meraviglia shops are located on Decks 6 and 7, offering a wide range of products from essentials to clothing, bags, accessories, and perfumes. The service is impeccable, with staff who are attentive and always ready to help you find great deals. If you’re a smoker, take advantage of the attractive prices on cigarette packs, with special promotions (28 to 32 dollars per pack, plus a 3 + 1 free offer). A great deal not to miss, especially during your cruise in the USA.

The magic of cruising lies in the unexpected encounters that turn into friendships, and this cruise was a true moment of shared happiness. A magical experience, similar to the one experienced on the MSC Sinfonia.

Despite a few passengers in a bad mood, the overall atmosphere was relaxed, judgment-free, and full of kindness. It was a real breath of fresh air and positivity, where everyone could enjoy themselves in their own way.
