During my first visit, everything was fine until I came face-to-face with a monitor lizard. It was my first time seeing one up close, and honestly, I was terrified 😅. It moved calmly, while I tried (unsuccessfully) to stay composed.
After that moment, I still enjoyed the park. You can spot monitor lizards (from a safe distance!), birds, and squirrels, making the walk even livelier. The park is perfect for relaxing, reading, having a picnic, or simply enjoying a calm moment in Bangkok.
For those who enjoy physical activity, the park offers jogging paths and Tai Chi sessions with locals. You can also rent a paddleboat to explore the central lake and view the park from the water.
