MSC Divina Bars: There’s One for Everyone

On board the MSC Divina, the bars are part of the experience. And trust us, you’ll quickly find your favorite.

Whether you’re into sophisticated cocktails, cold beers while watching the ocean go by, a glass of wine at sunset, or a gourmet coffee between ports, there’s something for every taste, every mood, every moment of the day.

What did we love the most? The atmosphere. Every bar has its own personality, its own vibe, its regulars. Within just a few days, you’ll have your spot. That place where the bartender starts preparing your drink as soon as they see you walk in. A place where you recognize the same faces every night. It slowly becomes, without really knowing why, your place on board.

One thing all the MSC Divina bars have in common is class. Beautiful design, impeccable service, and a wide selection. Not once did we feel out of place or unwelcome. Over 25 days, we had plenty of time to try them all and not a single disappointment.

So here’s our tip: don’t stick to just one. Explore, try, and make it yours. Your favorite bar is waiting somewhere between Deck 6 and Deck 16. 🍹

MSC Divina Buffet

MSC Divina Review

The buffet is kind of the headquarters of any self-respecting cruiser, right? On the Divina, you’re in for a treat. Whether it’s breakfast with an ocean view or a slice of pizza (seriously amazing!) after a long day ashore, the variety is there.

  • MTT tip – Try going slightly outside peak hours to score the perfect table by the windows.
  • Food-wise – You’ll find all the flavors of Italy and Spain, along with international dishes to satisfy every craving.

It’s the place you always come back to—not just for the food, but also because of the team that truly deserves a mention.

I’m thinking of Remilson first. An absolutely wonderful crew member professional, kind, smiling every single day despite intense hours and jet lag that would wear anyone down. With him, you’d never notice. Never. That’s what real professionalism looks like.

Siphokazi, from South Africa, was always there available and attentive. Mukai and Marie Christa Whitney completed the team with the same warm energy. The four of them made every meal enjoyable, and that matters a lot when you’re living on board for 25 days.

My mission for you: go say hi to them, and give them our regards from MonTataneTour (MTT). They truly deserve it and it will make their day!

Main Restaurants & Hidden Gems

On the MSC Divina, your taste buds travel just as much as you do. For elegant dinners, you can choose between two stunning dining rooms: Villa Rosa and The Black Crab. Both serve refined cuisine in a beautiful setting. The welcome is always warm, and the atmosphere is perfect for talking about your day ashore.

Specialty restaurants – The MTT test

We test the specialty restaurants on every MSC ship. It’s our little MTT ritual! And here, get ready the level is seriously high.

Butcher’s Cut (Deck 7) – This American-style steakhouse is a true institution. You’ll enjoy premium Angus beef in a private club atmosphere.

Verdict – Of all the MSC ships we’ve tested so far, the Divina’s Butcher’s Cut is by far the best! The quality of the meat and the service make it a must-try experience (expect around €49 for a dining package or à la carte).

Galaxy Kaito Restaurant (Deck 16, next to the nightclub) – Located at the top of the ship, this Japanese restaurant offers breathtaking panoramic views. It’s the perfect spot for a dinner featuring authentic Asian flavors (available à la carte or as part of a package).

The Veneziano Casino

MSC Divina Review

The atmosphere at the MSC Divina casino? Excellent! Fun, lively, and always buzzing at night. It’s a true gaming hub at sea, featuring over 150 slot machines, video poker, roulette, and plenty of table games (Blackjack, Poker…). The winnings? Let’s just say luck wasn’t always on our side 😄 but we kept coming back anyway—and not just for the adrenaline.

We don’t usually talk about casino staff in our reviews, but this is a first for MTT and this time, it’s absolutely deserved.

What truly stood out to us was Alina Vasile, the casino assistant manager. A level of professionalism you rarely see! Always smiling, warm, available, and attentive without ever being intrusive. We had never felt the need to highlight a casino staff member in a review before, but with Alina, it was obvious. If you happen to cross paths with her on board, you’ll instantly understand why we’re mentioning her. Don’t hesitate to say hi—she’s amazing!

Alina, an exceptional woman ❤️

The Pantheon Theater

Shows & Entertainment

If there’s one place where you’ll be blown away every single night, it’s at the Pantheon Theater. Let’s be honest: the quality of the shows on the MSC Divina truly impressed us. It almost feels like Broadway!

Every evening, the ship delivers a brand-new visual spectacle. Stunning costumes, grand sets, and perfectly executed staging completely transform the stage.

But the performers absolutely blew us away. They are simply incredible! The singers bring powerful vocals, the dancers move with insane precision, and the acrobats literally leave you holding your breath. You can feel the passion and the hard work behind every single act.

  • MTT tip – Arrive a bit early to grab the best seats, as there’s no reservation system (first come, first served). You’ll enjoy perfect acoustics and a great view of the costumes’ details and the performers’ energy.

This is the moment when you completely disconnect. You walk out of the theater with stars in your eyes and a boost of energy to keep the night going—whether at the casino, the nightclub, or the bar!

Pools & Relaxation Areas

MSC Divina Review

When it comes to swimming and relaxing, the MSC Divina delivers! The ship offers a variety of spaces for every type of cruiser—whether you’re looking for lively vibes or total peace and quiet.

The large covered area

This is the perfect option if the wind picks up. This large space features an indoor pool protected by a retractable roof. You’ll also find 4 sheltered jacuzzis, ideal for relaxing even when the weather isn’t on your side.

Open air & ocean views

The front relaxation area – For more peace and quiet, head to the front of the ship. There, you’ll enjoy a jacuzzi with hammocks available nearby. It’s the perfect spot for a nap with the sound of the waves.

The main pool – A huge outdoor pool sits right in the center of the ship. This is where the action happens—with entertainment, music, and sunshine.

The aft pool (Deck 15) – My personal favorite! Located at the back of the ship, it offers a stunning view of the ship’s wake. Pure magic for the eyes.

The Faces of the Divina – A Crew That Truly Cares

The MonTataneTour Challenge – Your Turn!

Heading on board the Divina soon? I’ve got a little challenge for you!

If you’re lucky enough to come across these familiar faces in a hallway, a restaurant, or a bar, take on the challenge: go say hi, send them our regards, and give them big hugs from “MonTataneTour”! I promise it will warm their hearts to know they’re not forgotten and that the MTT community is thinking of them.

Here are some of the amazing people I met on board:

MTT tip – Never hesitate to chat with the crew they come from all over the world and often have fascinating stories to share!

Cabins

MSC Divina Review

For this 25-day adventure, we chose an inside cabin. The ship was fully booked, which says a lot about its popularity! If you’re worried about feeling cramped, don’t be the layout is so well designed that you quickly feel at home.

The MSC Divina inside cabin is all about efficiency: a super comfortable bed, a practical bathroom, and enough storage space for your luggage. It’s the smart choice if you want to enjoy all the ship’s facilities without breaking your budget.

Still hesitating? Here are the other options:

  • Balcony cabins – Perfect if you dream of waking up facing the ocean, coffee in hand, whether in the Caribbean or Europe.
  • Yacht Club experience – A “ship within a ship.” You get premium service, a butler, and exclusive private areas for a true luxury cruise experience.

Miss Tatane’s review – Whatever your budget, the Divina checks all the comfort boxes. You sleep like a baby, gently rocked by the ship’s movement at sea.

Sports Facilities

The MSC Divina isn’t just about relaxation—it also offers plenty of sports facilities for guests who want to stay active during their cruise.

ActivityDetails
BasketballChallenge your friends on the Deck 16 basketball court for friendly or competitive games.
FootballA football field where you can play matches or practice your skills.
Jogging trackRun or walk along the outdoor track with stunning ocean views.
Ping pong tablesEnjoy fast-paced matches outdoors.
Water slidesLocated on Deck 16, with inflatable tubes for kids and adults—pure fun and adrenaline.

The Galaxy Nightclub

MSC Divina Review

To end your evenings in style, head to Deck 16. The MSC Divina nightclub is simply stunning. Its biggest highlight? The panoramic view. You’re literally dancing above the ocean—it’s magical.

The vibe was great every single night. Whether you’re a dance floor pro or just there for a drink with friends, the energy pulls you in. The DJ plays crowd-pleasing hits, and the space is so large you never feel cramped.

MTT review – Honestly, it was amazing! Between the music, the light shows, and the endless ocean views through the huge windows, we had unforgettable moments. A must-visit spot for party lovers!

Arcade & Fun Zone – My inner child loved it!

Think arcades are just for teenagers? Think again! On the MSC Divina, the Arcade area guarantees plenty of laughs for both kids and adults alike.

I had a blast with the motorbike games, bowling, and the Formula 1 simulator. But my absolute favorite was the 4D cinema. We even tried the zombie game—full adrenaline, shaking seats, and total immersion.

For nostalgia lovers, there are also classic claw machines and various skill games where you can try to win plush toys.

MTT review – I’ll admit it—I’m still a big kid at heart. I never lose that playful spirit, and I love these pure fun moments. What about you? Are you going for the high score or just watching others play?

MTT FINAL VERDICT – OUR MSC DIVINA REVIEW

A cruise we would book again with our eyes closed!

So, do we recommend this ship? The answer is a huge YES! We would sail on the MSC Divina again without hesitation. This ship has a warmth and charm you don’t find everywhere. After 25 days on board, it’s no longer a question of “if” we’ll go back, but “when”.

Why did we love this cruise so much?

The itinerary truly felt like a dream. From the colors of Cartagena, the magic of the Panama Canal, the beaches of Roatan, the turquoise waters of the Bahamas, to the energy of Miami—we experienced a real Caribbean dream.

But beyond the destinations, what we remember most is the human side. It’s the crew that creates the magic. We will never forget the smiles of Yaned, Kimberly, Remilson, Siphokazi, Alina, and all the others. They turn a simple cruise into an unforgettable experience.

In short – A warm ship, an exceptional crew, and a unique atmosphere. The MSC Divina remains a safe bet for all cruise lovers.

One thing that really stood out to me: after 16 years of cruising, this is the first time I’ve seen this. In the main dining room at dinner, they now charge a €5 supplement for an extra dish (“one more”). Given that portions can sometimes be small, this feels a bit surprising, especially since it used to be free. We are charged for food waste, but not for this… which is why I sometimes preferred the buffet in the evening.
