MSC Seaview cruises
On the MSC Seaview, don’t miss the seaside promenade on Deck 8. This walkway wraps around a large part of the ship, giving you a full immersion in the ship’s atmosphere with a beautiful, relaxing ocean view.
You can stroll there anytime, watch the sunset, enjoy a meal at the tables, sip a cocktail, or simply relax and soak in the calm. It’s the perfect spot to unwind facing the sea, one of my favorite places on the ship.
Pools
MSC Seaview cruises
Pools on the MSC Seaview are clean, well-maintained, and safe. The facilities are modern, and the staff does everything to keep everything spotless. The jacuzzis, during summer and holiday periods, are honestly almost impossible to use. New generation of cruisers tends to stay for an hour, while the recommended time is 20 minutes so that everyone can enjoy them. This issue mainly occurs during peak periods. I’m not criticizing the staff, who are lovely and do their best, but stricter rules from management would help prevent the same people from always monopolizing the facilities.
As on all ships hosting over 5,000 passengers, pools can be very crowded during high season. It may be difficult to find a lounge chair or fully enjoy the space comfortably.
This is a common situation on large ships and is not unique to the Seaview. Knowing this before boarding will help you better plan your relaxation moments.
Despite the crowds, it’s still possible to have a fantastic time by the water, especially outside peak hours in the morning or late afternoon. The atmosphere remains relaxed, and the areas are well-designed to fully enjoy the pools and cool off.
Waterslides
The MSC Seaview waterslides are a real show. Worldwide, only two ships have this attraction: the MSC Seaside and the MSC Seaview. If you board the latter, get ready for memorable aquatic adventure moments.
These slides offer fast descents, sharp turns, and thrilling sensations. They appeal to both children and adults. Whether you’re looking for adrenaline or just a fun way to cool off, you’re in for a treat.
Slide, swirl, and have a blast safely on these modern, well-maintained structures. It’s a real bonus that makes your cruise even more fun and enjoyable.
Zip Line
MSC Seaview cruises
The MSC Seaview offers an exciting adventure with its two zip lines along the side of the ship.
You literally soar above the waves for an intense adrenaline rush while enjoying an incredible view of the ocean. Hold on tight and launch yourself on this fast ride above the deck – thrills guaranteed.
I haven’t tried it myself, but I’ve seen plenty of brave cruisers take the plunge, and it looks really fun. It’s definitely an attention-grabbing activity that adds excitement to the ship.
This activity is paid and strictly regulated.

This activity is not suitable for very large individuals.
SPA
The MSC Seaview SPA is truly enjoyable. The team is lovely and very attentive, making the experience even more pleasant. Honestly, a big thank you to them for their warm welcome.
The SPA is clean, spacious, and well-designed. The atmosphere is relaxing, perfect for unwinding after a day of excursions or walking around the ship.
You’ll find various packages and prices to suit all needs and budgets. Whether it’s for a specific treatment, access to the thermal area (prices usually start at $20), or a session in the beauty salon, you can fully enjoy this moment of relaxation.
Interior
To give you an idea of the spaciousness of the areas.
When choosing your cabin on the MSC Seaview, it’s normal to have questions, especially if you’re sensitive to claustrophobia. No worries – interior cabins, even without windows, are comfortable and thoughtfully designed for a good night’s sleep.
If you prefer natural light and an ocean view, an outside cabin with a porthole or a balcony is an excellent choice. Ultimately, though, the cabin is mostly a place to rest or sleep.
Many first-time cruisers worry about interior cabins, fearing they’ll feel cramped. In reality, they are functional, pleasant, and perfect for sleeping after busy days filled with onboard activities and excursions.
Whether you choose an interior, outside, or balcony cabin, your stay on the MSC Seaview will be comfortable and enjoyable. Use your cabin to rest, but remember that the real adventure happens outside.
Atrium
Upon entering the MSC Seaview atrium, you’ll immediately be struck by the spaciousness and the vibrant atmosphere. It’s truly the heart of the ship, the perfect place to enjoy memorable evenings and meet fellow cruisers. Live concerts bring the space to life and immerse you in a musical atmosphere that leaves a lasting impression.
You’ll also find several stylish bars, each offering delicious cocktails to accompany your relaxation moments. The modern architecture and lighting effects create a chic and welcoming atmosphere that will captivate you from the moment you step in.
Restaurants
MSC Seaview cruises
On board the MSC Seaview, the food is truly excellent. I experienced it 4 or 5 years ago, and at that time the quality of the meals was top-notch. I’ll try it again soon, but I say this with caution: on some ships, quality can sometimes vary. The buffets and restaurants still offer a wide variety of dishes that appeal to all tastes.
During peak hours, especially between 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM in high season, it can be a bit hectic: dining rooms fill up quickly and sometimes you have to wait to serve yourself. Off-season, it’s much calmer and more enjoyable.
Remember that behind every dish and every drink, there are teams working hard. A simple “hello” or “thank you” costs nothing but is greatly appreciated.
In short, the food is high-quality, and with a bit of planning, your meals on board remain a true pleasure.

Food waste on cruises is a real problem. Too often, some passengers take far too much food just because it’s free, and end up throwing away a lot. It’s unfortunate and really unnecessary.
On the MSC Seaview, there is more than enough food for everyone. There’s no reason to overfill your plate. It’s better to serve yourself a reasonable portion, take only what you really want to eat, and avoid wasting.
You can also do your part by asking for smaller portions or taking leftovers (fruits, desserts) if you don’t finish everything. These simple gestures, multiplied by all passengers, really make a difference.
On vacation, we all want to enjoy ourselves, but we shouldn’t forget to respect our planet. So let’s keep this in mind at every meal.

Dinners on board the MSC Seaview are mainly about meeting new people. You are seated with others who speak the same language, so there’s no stress in starting a conversation. It’s a great opportunity to get to know others, share a meal with people you would never have met otherwise, and sometimes form lasting connections. I’ve always been lucky to meet wonderful dining companions who I still keep in touch with today.

The MK show, featuring Hermino, is a must-see, but all other performances are worth watching as well. The diversity and quality of the acts pleasantly surprise and make every evening special.
One small detail to note: the seats are a bit narrow, which may be uncomfortable for taller guests. But honestly, the quality of the shows quickly makes up for this minor inconvenience.

On the MSC Seaview, the casino is a place where boredom has no chance. With numerous slot machines and gaming tables, everyone can find an activity that suits them and enjoy some thrilling moments.
Personal anecdote: I was lucky enough to win $1,000! I’m not encouraging anyone to gamble, but it was a really fun moment to share.
Every week, tens of thousands of dollars are distributed on board. Some players leave with impressive winnings, sometimes $12,500 or even $25,000.

The ship’s arcade offers a wide selection of video games, from timeless classics to the latest releases, including highly realistic simulators and racing games that will get your adrenaline pumping. It’s the perfect spot for family fun or hanging out with friends during the cruise.
